Costume Story

A man stares into the distance.
Boy: Is something the matter?
Man: No. There were outlaws here, but they have left.
Boy: Heh heh. You should be relaxing today.
There's an unusually mischievous twinkle in the boy's eyes.
Boy: Or are you scared?
Man: Scared? Of what?
The boy points at the sea that lies glittering in the sun.
Man: No. I am waterproof.
The man steps into the water, as if to prove his point.
Except he does not float. Instead, he continues to walk along the sea floor until the boy finally stops him.
